Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and execute military operations in order to protect the security of Pakistan.
• Protect the Pakistani borders from any external threats or intrusions.
• Supervise and coordinate the security forces, military personnel, and other personnel within the organization.
  
• Develop, implement, and monitor the operational plans for the security of the nation.
  
• Coordinate with other military and government agencies in order to ensure the security of the country.
  
• Develop strategic plans for the defense of the nation and train armed forces personnel accordingly.
  
• Monitor the political and social developments in the region in order to anticipate potential threats and take precautionary measures.
  
• Manage resources and personnel in order to ensure efficient functioning of the Pakistani military.
  
• Participate in peacekeeping missions as requested by the government.
  
• Carry out relief operations during natural disasters and other emergency situations.
