Pakistan Railway Department is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill the role of Train Manager. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing and operating the train service provided by the Pakistan Railways Department. The Train Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the railway network. This will include scheduling and maintaining a regular and reliable train service, ensuring passenger safety and directing the activities of the train crew. The Train Manager will also be responsible for checking the condition of the rolling stock and ensuring all safety equipment is in good working order. The successful applicant should have a Bachelor's Degree in Railway Operations, Railway Engineering or related field from a recognized university. A minimum of 5 years' experience in the railway industry is desirable. The ability to speak, read and write in English and Urdu is also essential. The successful candidate will also demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work proactively and independently. Responsibilities:

• Perform all duties associated with ticketing, reservations, and customer service in a Pakistan Railway station.
• Monitor and coordinate the loading/unloading of freight and passengers on trains.
• Maintain accurate records of freight and passenger movements.
• Monitor the progress of trains and inform passengers of any delays.
• Ensure safe operation of railway equipment and follow all safety regulations.
• Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely manner.
• Keep the station premises and railway equipment clean and maintained.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the station and ensure the smooth running of services.
• Provide assistance to passengers in boarding and disembarking trains.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure the efficient running of the railway network.
